Floor Covering Installers plan, prepare, safely install and repair various types of floor covering materials including tile, resilient sheet goods, carpet, ceramic, wood floors, and synthetic turf.Apprentices will receive training in the following areas but not limited to:

Wages

Beginning apprentices receive a percentage of journeyman wage including full health coverage and other limited fringe benefits that increase with each progressive step in the Program. Apprentice wages increase every six months as they complete a combination of on-the-job training hours along with passing credit for classroom and hands-on training at our training facilities until they become a journeyman at the end of the program. Other Requirements

Apprentices must possess sufficient educational knowledge to satisfactorily complete on-the-job training and related technical instruction. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is recommended.
